In India, we must have visited several places and why do we go on trips to those places because we got to hear about those places from somewhere, we hear about the specialty of that place, Right? Same I’m here to tell you about the most amazing place in India and that is Vrindavan. Sounding familiar name right?
So Vrindavan is a town located in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. Basically, this place is famous for its association with Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna took birth there, and spend his childhood, and adulthood there. We see all those places in Vrindavan as Krishna janam bhumi and there are lots of places to visit where lord Krishna used to go and spend his life there. This place Is counted as a holy place in India. All the places, rivers, mail
, temples, a crowd of cows, and matki of butter remind us of that naughty kid Krishna. Many hidden places in Vrindavan are worth exploring. Here are
a few suggestions:
-Kesi Ghat:
Kesi
Ghat is a less crowded and serene Ghat on the banks of the Yamuna River. It was
built by the queen of Bharatpur laxmi
devi in the late 17th century in a Rajasthani architectural style. It is believed
that Lord Krishna
killed the demon Kesi
at this spot.
-Imli Tala:
Imli
Tala is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha. It is located
in a quiet and peaceful area,
and the temple
courtyard has a large tamarind
tree. Once during
a dance called
as
rasa, Radha left suddenly and Krishna went immediately to find Radha. He looked
for Radha everywhere but could not
find so he came and sat below the Imli tala tree. He started to turn golden as the skin of his beloved
as he could not bear being
away from Radha Rani. This was
the moment when Radha came there
and saw the miracle of Sri Krishna’s
holy body and took his darshan. This was my favorite place for
Radha Rani.
-Seva Kunj:
Seva
Kunj is a garden located near the Banke Bihari
temple, in Vrindavan, Mathura. It is believed
to be the spot where Lord Krishna used to perform Raas Leela with the Gopis.
Also, this is the place where Krishna
did Seva of Radha and made her ready for the holy dance which is called Raas Leela. This place is dedicated
to Radha Krishna Which is also known
as Rang Mahal, where Radha
and Krishna used to perform
Raas Leela along with other Gopis of
Vrindavan.
There are a lot of pics in which Krishna
is seen massaging Radha's
legs after she got tired of dancing. It's kind of the beauty of
this couple sprinkled in this place
-Radha Kund and Shyam Kund:
Radha Kund and Shyam Kund are two sacred ponds located
near Vrindavan. These ponds
are believed to be the bathing places of Radha and Krishna.
-Nidhivan:
Nidhivan
is a mysterious forest located on the outskirts of Vrindavan. It is believed
that Lord Krishna comes here every night to perform Raas Leela with Radha and his Gopis. This place
is believed to be Krishna’s
favorite place.
-Madan Mohan Temple:
Madan
Mohan Temple is one of the oldest temples in Vrindavan, and it is believed to
be the first temple built in the
town. In the 18th century, it was made up by nand kumar babu. The temple
is located in a quiet and peaceful
area and is less crowded than some of the other popular temples in Vrindavan.
These
are just a few examples of the many hidden places in Vrindavan worth exploring.
It is always recommended to take the help of a local guide
to discover more such places. This place is worth visiting once at least.
